Service Advisor

Role: Service Advisor (Maternity Cover)

Location: Lowdham, Notts

Salary: £18,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours plus 1:3 Saturdays at x1.5

Duration: Initial contract of 3 to 6 months, could extend to 12 months and may become permanent (maternity cover)

Our prestigious and well known client is seeking to appoint a member of staff to its Service Department

Core duties of the service advisor:

  • dealing with requests for scheduling services
  • greet customers to the service area
  • liaise with the parts department
  • chase work in progress
  • update customers
  • gain approval for any additional work
  • take ownership of customer queries
  • follow business protocols

Experience needed for the service advisor:

  • previous customer facing experience
  • top quality customer care skills
  • an excellent listener
  • superb communication skills
  • excellent telephone manner
  • well presented
  • previous motor trade experience an advantage
  • knowledge of Kerridge preferrable
  • car driver essential
